Your Role In product care project the Technical Project Leader is functional reporting to the Product Care Manager. The Technical Project Leader is to work with Electrolux internal functional teams and external partner to optimize the existing products with the right cost and quality. The Technical Project Leader is also able to work on special assignments to deliver a given task when required.
A Typical Day The Technical project leader role includes bringing the technical specification based on consumer needs from Category/PTM and to combine that with the industrial design needs into a cost-efficient product easy to produce and with the right quality. To do this technical project leader needs to cooperate closely with Category, Quality, Lab, Design, Costing, Sourcing and other project functions. As a Technical Project Leader – your main responsibilities are: 61 Acting Project Manager to lead project team for detailed planning and follow up on Product Care activities. (Time and resource plans, product cost, action plans, system description etc.) 61 Assure that technically feasible, well-verified and defined solutions are chosen for the product. Selected solutions must be based on cross-functional input (SDL, Quality, EmT, supplier, etc.). 61 Lead, plan and delegate the Product Care work within the engineering project team. 61 Creation of technical documentation (Team Center, 3D/2D/specifications, etc.) and make sure that these are updated and available for other functions. 61 Take part in creation of test plans made by system test leader. 61 Evaluate test results and identify, plan and implement actions to fulfill specifications. 61 Place external orders such as prototypes etc. after approval from concerned cost center owner. 61 Check and certify invoices. 61 Approve technical documentation and archive them in correct way. 61 Organize internal checkpoints and external communication
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/engineering management/project management or other related. Experience with product developing/production assessments. Experience with project management 5+ years Product development experience or project management experience Small domestic appliance knowledge, Interpersonal skills and positive mindset
