● Own the concept & business case of the project as well as all the defined demands (time, scope, costs) by analyzing relevant data in detail. ● Define project scope definition, project charter, design the master plan, identify risks, propose mitigation plan, contribute to project team creation ● Lead regular project steering committees with senior management ● Drive the realization and be responsible for all project resources (people, budget, final decisions, IT tools, data collection & analysis and support) ● Map out and implement optimal systems and process improvements with assigned projects as well as drive IT system integration topics ● Monitor the project (cost / timing / scope / risks / prioritization) and drive the related communication using PMO tools and support the development of operating budgets ● Ensure change-management involvement and aligning all stakeholders ● Monitor the project success after the realization / Go-Live ● Propose improvement actions ● Steer involved consultancy companies (if appropriate) ● Scope of action is mostly APAC, but can be extended to global projects in Europe and North America depending on skills, workload and demand
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years professional work experience in project management (preferably in the Logistics / Warehousing / Transportation sector) Bachelor’s degree (in Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering) Knowledge about Logistics 3PL warehouse provider and/or contract logistics Knowledge and experience in SAP IT Projects (SAP ECC, S/4 and EWM) is a plus Project management skills is a must Fluent in English both verbal and in writing is a must Lean management & continuous improvement methods are a plus Official Project Management Certification (e.g. PMI Standard) is a plus Good communication & interpersonal skills Time/stress management, ability to prioritize & to anticipate Ability to work with intercultural teams Flexibility to travel
