Missions: As System & Software Quality Engineer (m/f/d) you are working in a multi-disciplinary project team within our product development department and will work closely together with the respective project managers and their teams. You are responsible for defining/deploying the System & SW QA activities within LEM projects. A software quality assurance (QA) engineer monitors every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company processes. He is cooperating with project quality engineers on SW purposes and ensure project quality gates.
Permanent activities: 61 Ensure customer and/or internal processes are well implemented within our automotive SW projects 61 Plan and monitor QA activities on these projects 61 Manage Peer Reviews from QA perspective throughout the SW lifecycle (Peer Reviews creation, moderation, and process evaluation) 61 Perform random QA reviews on SW Work products (SW Plans, Architecture, Design, Coding, Test…) 61 Support audits performed by Internal Quality Management (Audits against internal QMS, customer processes, ISO 9001, A-SPICE, ISO 26262…) 61 Support Customer Audits 61 Participate in Process Improvement initiatives handled by internal Quality Management and/or Customers Collection and regular evaluation of project specific Quality-metrics (e.g. Traceability, QA non-conformances, Test coverage, Burn down of MISRA- and HIS-violations, OTD) 61 Documentation of Quality Assurance Records. Competencies: 61 Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sys & SW Quality Engineer 61 Knowledge of SW Quality Assurance methodologies 61 Definition of development processes to meet Quality Assurance, Functional Safety and Cybersecurity requirements 61 Deployment of the processes or tailoring an existing development process 61 Knowledge of the applicable standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21434, A-SPICE, CMMI) – ASPICE assessor certification is a plus Knowledge of Requirement, Configuration and Issue Management tools (IBM Rational DOORS, CodeBeamer, SVN, JIRA…) 61 Team Moderation skills 61 Technical Coaching skills 61 Experience in international working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures
