Country: China Location: LOC3460: 6F-15F, Building A, New Bund World Trade Center(1), No.4, Lane 255 Dongyu Rd, Pudong District, Shanghai, China Role Responsibilities: * Project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons * Participate in various RFP’s and evaluations of emerging network and communication technologies * Work with the operations team to coordinate the deployment of network design changes * Serve as an escalation point for third-party service providers for priority 1 incidents * Comply with all AP ITIL Service Level Management objectives including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management and ensuring the delivery of computing services per agreed service level and operational expectations. * Participate in Security and Risk Management including Access Control, CFATS, SVA, SOX, and Audits * Cover prime-time (Business) hours from Monday through Friday (local time) and on-call support for urgent situations on non-prime-time hours, weekends and holidays * Embrace and lead with a proactive approach to network issues and risks including capacity management and issue detection/resolution * Role Purpose: * Position in the China HUB Infrastructure organization, part of Global DT Infrastructure Network Operations Organization, providing support for the operational LAN, WAN, and network security infrastructure components and services. * Responsible for developing design engineering standards, deployment guidelines, implementation validation procedures, capacity management, and the research and development of new solutions across traditional and cloud networked environments. Position is one of a select group of lead network engineers within a growing global team driving change and digital transformation across the environment. * Minimum Requirements: * 5 -10 years experience in the development, management and implementation of a company’s internal data communications systems, including telecommunications, security layer, LANs, and WANs. * Good command of both written and spoken English * SD-WAN - A minimum of 3 years experience with SD-WAN technologies including Cisco Viptela or comparable technologies. * Collaborate with third-party managed service providers as needed for incident management and collaboration, project planning and implementation, and maintenance tasks/events.
