Key responsibilities - Lead a team of Key Account Managers who are responsible for the company’s key accounts. - Be the Key Account Manager for the company’s top Key Accounts. - Ensure the Key Account Management Team is following all internal policies, SOPs and processes when managing the Key Accounts. - Set-up KPIs and a reporting structure for the Key Account Management team and provide the visibility and transparency to top management, incl. monitoring volume, profitability, pipeline, tasks, and ensuring immediate actions in case of deviations by involving all internal stakeholders and escalating to top management when necessary. - Establish a healthy and constructive relationship with other internal department to shape the company’s strategy and serve as an escalation for any issues in relation to client management.
Qualifications - Bachelor degree or above. - 10+ years working experience in Supply Chain/Logistics enterprise, especially with 3-5 years relevant working experience in managing a team of KAMs in MNC environment. - Good market and industry knowledge for handling procedures of ocean freight, 4PL, air freight, warehousing, etc. - Passionate for exploring progressive solutions for key accounts with creative thinking and problem-solving aptitude. - Strongly customer-oriented mindset with excellent service quality, a positive can-do attitude. - Strong negotiation and presentation skills, comfortable to regularly present to high-level managers/representatives of the client. - Previous experience working in and with multicultural and global teams. - Excellent communication skills in English. German or Polish speaker is an advantage. - Ability to work independently and manage personal time, keeping deliverables and deadlines top of mind. - Strong team leadership and management skills. - Strong analytical skills and able to develop data-driven solutions. - Team player with the ability to effectively work and communicate with internal teams to ensure the customer satisfaction. - A good command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint are crucial.
