POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager to oversee our hepatitis and respiratory product portfolios at Cepheid. This role will involve cross-functional collaboration to drive business strategy and growth. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and strategic thinking to develop and execute product marketing strategies. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 61 Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive product strategies and promotional plans to drive sales growth and achieve sales targets for assigned product portfolios. Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market trends. 61 Content Development and Management: Create and manage high-quality, product-specific content, including sales tools, collateral materials, scientific publications, trade exhibits, and web content. Ensure all materials are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicate product value propositions. 61 Competitive Intelligence: Actively gather and analyze competitive intelligence to maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. Use insights to inform strategic and tactical product plans and ensure the organization remains ahead of market trends. 61 Marketing Program Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Communications team to design and execute marketing programs that generate new sales leads and enhance brand visibility across multiple channels. 61 Clinical Education Leadership: Lead clinical education initiatives by developing educational tools and organizing impactful user group meetings and seminars related to assigned product portfolios. Ensure that sales teams and customers have the necessary knowledge to effectively use and promote products. 61 Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide regular product marketing training and market intelligence updates to the sales force and business partners. Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization. 61 Key Opinion Leader Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the relevant product areas. Leverage these relationships to enhance product credibility and market adoption. 61 Customer Insights and Support: Regularly participate in sales calls to gain firsthand insights into customer issues and frontline challenges. Develop practical tools and solutions to address these challenges and improve the sales process. 61 Regulatory and Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with the regulatory and customer service departments to facilitate product registration, clinical trials, product evaluations, and updates. Ensure all products comply with relevant regulations and standards. 61 Demand and Supply Management: Collaborate with the sales and sales operations teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting and efficient supply chain management. Optimize inventory levels to meet customer needs while minimizing costs. 61 Government Affairs and Policy Updates: Partner with the Government Affairs team to plan and drive patient charge projects for associated products. Stay informed about government policies and regulations that may impact product portfolios. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education and Experience (in years): 61 Master’s degree in a science-related field, preferably in Life Science, Clinical Medicine, or a related discipline. 61 Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management, with proven track record of success, preferably within the IVD, Medical Device, Pharma, or Life Science industries. 61 Demonstrated experience in managing complex product portfolios and driving cross-functional initiatives. Knowledge and skills: 61 Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities. 61 Excellent collaboration skills, time management, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills. 61 Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Mandarin and English. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. 61 Proficiency in market research and competitive analysis, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Other: 61 Ability and willingness to travel as necessary (Up to 50%) PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 61 Knowledge in hepatitis or infectious disease area strongly preferred. 61 Knowledge in molecular diagnostic technology and industry preferred.
