1.Strategy risk oversight including FRP review and challenging. 2.Oversight Financial reporting: Working with Finance to review and challenge the entity's IFRS , EC and local regulatory reporting result. 3.Local CROSS and CGAAP reporting: Review and challenge the entity's local regulatory capital reporting results. 4.liquidity risk review and challenge 5.Lead and oversight the implementation of CROSS insurance risk framework and group IUR framework 6.Engaging in frequent interaction with wider teams across Insurance 7. Recommending ad-hoc stress testing and scenario analysis in response to emerging risks and latest economic/market developments 8.Provide oversight and support for the effective implementation of the RMF and frameworks to address associated regulatory requirements
Qualifications To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
1.Extensive knowledge of industry good practice and emerging regulations in the actuarial field 2.Strong technical knowledge of understanding insurance financial methodologies and techniques 3.Good understanding of HSBC's overall business dynamics and culture 4.Experience of developing and implementing enterprise risk management 5.Extensive experience of working with and facing off to senior management 6.Experience of interfacing with Audit and Regulators 7.Experience of IFRS 17 implementation 8.Strong communication and interpersonal skills 9.Actuarial qualification would be a plus 10.Fluent English in both speaking and written is a plus
