International company producing heavy duty machine tools, namely large size boring and milling machines / large size machining centers, is searching for their Shanghai production plant:


Mechanic Service Engineer

Job description :

1)Service activities at customers, consisting in repairing technical problems on machines, with specific regard to mechanic and hydraulic problems.
This according to targets assigned by the company.

3)Installation and commissioning of machines, in cooperation with other colleagues.

2)Accuracy checking of the machines, operating necessary re-alignment and adjustments to reach optimal accuracy.

3)Training to customers, on maintenance issues of the machines.

Above activities will be requested both in P.R. China, and in other territory or elsewhere.



Requested qualifications and skills:

1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanic Engineering or Mechatronics.
2. Good experience in commissioning and/or service of machine tools, with at least 5 years experience in heavy-duty machine tools commissioning and/or service.
3. Good ability in understanding mechanic drawings and hydraulic diagrams
4. Ability to use measuring instruments necessary for quality check of single parts and checking /alignment of complete machines.
5. Basic ability of operating machines, which may be requested for repair or alignment/setting operations.
6. Familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, possibly with experience in the service of hydraulic components;
7. Ability to lift and move big part with crane, possibly holding relevant certification.
8. Active working attitude, strong responsibility for the work, willingness to cooperate with colleagues in team work.
9. Simple English reading ability is requested. English Speaking will be a plus.
10. Understanding of electric/electronic systems and basic experience on repair of these systems will be a plus.
