Position Summary: Manages and is accountable for the project management, contract performance, and internal interface of assigned Parker projects. Manages development projects of moderate complexity and scope, capital projects, or portions of projects/programs. Serves as the focal point to all stakeholders, both internal and external, for the project(s). Project scope is generally evaluated based on non‐recurring engineering (NRE) cost of the project(s). Job Responsibilities: 61 Ensures customer requirements are met and are in the best interests of Parker by creating the program charter, baseline plan, and other program management components. Ensures that the cost basis and/or pricing is correct by evaluating resource requirements, and performing risk analysis. As described by AGS PRM‐01 (Program Management Policy). 61 Defines plans and monitors costs and technical performance to milestones/schedules for customer projects through coordinated team effort. 61 Makes decision on technical and schedule priorities for projects within the team’s scope. 61 Facilitates and ensures effective product/technology gate reviews. 61 Continually improves project effectiveness through process and system standardization. 61 Communicates project status to Division staff, management, and customer through project/program reviews and elevates issues as required. 61 Makes project decisions within overall budget and resources parameters. Utilize cost and budget parameters as input for project prioritization. 61 Establishes, monitors, and controls project costs and approves budget expenditures. 61 Leads team (direct and/or cross‐functional) to develop action plans to drive improved project performance. Qualifications: 61 Bachelor degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Engineering, Aviation or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field. 61 Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of increasing responsibility in aerospace program administration or related fields. 61 Advanced, specialized knowledge of program administration principles, aviation industry practices, regulations, and policies. Knowledge of complex legal and regulatory requirements related to program administration. 61 Tenacity and experience getting results from cross functional team without direct authority over team members. 61 Prior cross‐functional and business experience leading projects and programs with high‐technology customers, 61 products, technology and processes. 61 Ability to effectively assess, lead, and implement continuous improvement in critical and/or high-impact areas. 61 Ability to work on a complex problem where in-depth analysis and evaluation of situations and/or information is required for complex negotiations. Able to influence business decisions and negotiate resource allocation. 61 Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 61 Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, vendors, customers, and top management. 61 Ability to establish program plans and report status utilizing program management software. 61 Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities. 61 PMP certification or equivalent is required. 61 Fluent in English.
