- Manage and train the test engineers - Manage the workload of testing team - Prepare the test program for offers, if needed - Responsible for the sample management during the tests - Supervise the tests done or prepared by the engineers - Support the testing manager to develop new test methods or new standards - Set up test equipment as needed with manager, expert and lab supervisor. - Responsible to purchase consumables for testing, if needed - Responsible for the right application of technical procedures and / standard by engineers - Responsible for delivering the results and test reports on time - Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Be very attentive and sure information’s given to clients. - Responsible for recording accurate data in BISTRA - Manage the relationship with subcontracting labs - Responsible for improvements of process in testing team - Check and sign test reports and folders - Support Customer Services and sales for clients visits
Skills and Requirements:
- Reliable - Initiative and independence in solving problems and developing methods. - Ability to perform multiple tasks. - Individual and Team work ethic - Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet or exceed deadlines. - Proficiency with Windows, Word & Excel. - Working knowledge of IEC / EN / UL standards relating to electrical products. - Electrical and mechanical aptitude. - Knowledge of testing of electrical products from laboratory / manufacturing. Education & Experience: - High Diploma / Degree in Electrical engineering. - 4 to 5 years of working experience in electrical product safety testing. - Good knowledge of electrical product safety in EN / IEC / UL standards. - English speaking candidate will be favored.
