ACCOUNTABILITY: Develop, maintain, drive to implement Songjiang site systematic structural and pragmatic CI process & program to sustainably achieve defined top quartile performance in Songjiang site. Drive plantwide implementation and maturity level of Lubrizol Operating System (LOS), sustain best practice, and support execution of standard work. Support plant leadership team to build up the culture of continuous improvement and a learning organization, who is also responsible to improve plant training system to sustain role-based competency of operation team. Support plant manager to build up a smart plant by introduction advance tools, system and method. Lead a dynamic strike force team based on different initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES: -Develop, maintain the site CI process & program, drive the implementation. -Coach, support the site staff, especially people managers, to deliver CI outcome. -Overview and study whole site MFG functions, activities, impacts to come up and track progress of the site strategic improvement plan with itemized projects, initials and associated anticipated effects. -Drive the maturity level of LOS at Songjiang site. Lead site self-assessment, internal and external audits to mitigate gaps. -Sustain or achieve best practice of world class manufacturing in Songjiang including 5S, leader standard work, and KPI management etc. -Drive continuous improvement culture of plantwide. Be responsible for CI projects status tracking in Planview reporting. Support department managers to screen, prioritize and allocate proper cross function resources that serves CI leaders and projects. -Improve root cause analysis and problem-solving competency among all tiers. -Ensure standard work implementation. -Lead dynamic strike force team on different initiatives. -Oversee Songjiang training system and support department managers to set up a healthy role-based training/competency matrix. -Manage training and CI expense below budget. -Work together with regional and corporate operation excellence team to align strategy and targets, share best practice and lessons learn.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS: -Lean six sigma Black Belt certificate is a must. -A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is recommended. -Minimum of 5 years of plant CI experience. -Fluent in English and Chinese (written and oral).
