1. IoT Technology Strategy: 61Define and own IoT technology strategy and roadmap; 2. Product Development and Delivery: 61Working with internal product management team, internal and external delivery teams to develop and release IoT enabled Connected products and systems; 61Develop the technical solutions to meet architecture and design goals; 61Working with the Project Manager to meet Sprint goals on time and on quality; 61IoT Edge & Software – lead selection and ongoing management of the IoT Hardware and Software; 61IoT platform – lead IoT application design and implementation through the release; 3. Pre Sales: 61Working with the Connected Services Product Manager and BDM to provide IoT expertise to agree approach to on-board a new customer onto Connected Services offering; 61Visiting customer sites as part of pre-sales activities; 4. Customer on-boarding: 61Assist the customer’s technical teams to define and implement on-site IoT connectivity from the devices to IoT Edge device; 5. BAU Maintenance and Support: 61Working with the Connected Services Operation Manager to provide level 3 incident support to operate the digital solutions and meet customer support goals;
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies 61Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a Technical / Computer Engineering discipline; 61Ideally a competent user of Microsoft Azure IoT Hub and related IoT services (Time Series Insights, Power BI, AI/ML) 61C#,.netand SQL server, 61Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud deployment technologies 61Experience working with Agile methodology and within cross functional teams. 61Analyse program needs, and tailor designed software solutions to users using a problem solvingapproach 61Create and analyse visual diagrams and methods that communicate the necessary code components to other team members and explain how they might function together 61Observe program functionality throughout various testing, development and production phases and environments 61Collaborate with designers, data scientists to optimise and iterate on software solutions. 61Ability to take the initiative, be assertive, whilst remaining customer focused; 61Ability to deliver quality in a fast-paced environment; aptitude for multi-tasking, working to emerging & tight timelines; 61Good organisational, verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and negotiate;
