Due to our company's rapid growth, we are offering a unique new position in our global engineering team: Technology scout, located in our R&D HQ Shanghai in China.
As a Technology Scout you are responsible for exploring the market trends, identify technologies leading to new developments for top-level roof systems and translate this to business opportunities. It’s your challenge to perform your tasks within the budget, against the agreed quality level and within the given time plan with a strong customer focus. In this position you operate in Global teams and work closely together with the advanced engineers and project teams. You report directly to the Manager Advanced Engineering (HQ Venray).


Job description

61 Understand roof systems and roof functions and be able to identify new feature and technology integration.
61 Develop product and innovation roadmaps to further develop Inalfa's product portfolio and support the movement towards a mechatronic company with related products.
61 Monitor continuous for new technologies, products and market trends.
61 Translate trends, new ideas and technologies into business opportunities and future product and features.
61 Manage quality and accessibility of technical (project) documentation with clear USP’s.
61 Realize projects according to the Technology Roadmap and achieve Advanced Engineering Goals and Objectives.
61 Maintain key stakeholder contacts for development and forward-thinking strategies.


What do we expect from you?

61 You have finished a degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering on a BsC or MSC level.
61 You bring a pragmatic and pro-active approach.
61 3 year+ of experience, preferably with automotive experience.
61 We do expect you to have knowledge of mechanical systems and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
61 As a professional you have a service/customer-oriented approach with good analytical and organizational skills. In your work you focus on results, and you are able to manage your planning and set priorities.
61 Proven capabilities to be an effective communicator, bridge builder with existing or new suppliers/development companies.
61 A creative and open mindset.
61 It is important to have good communication skills in English.
61 Willingness to travel occasionally.
