Accountabilities 1. Responsible for marketing ATL categories (e.g. Social, Creative & Advertising production, market research, sponsorship, etc.) sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier management. 2. Have an insight into innovation and new supplier development to deliver expected saving on the basis of total supply chain cost. 3. Work closely with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Zone Category Manager/Leader to deliver results based on business needs. 4. Manage supply to strength business relationship with the suppliers; 5. Maintain supplier database and make cost driver analysis; 6. Set up and renew cost model for cost analysis (understand supply and demand market, category supply market, cost structure, etc); 7. Implement e-auction strategy
Technical Competencies 1. Purchasing in a consumer goods, distribution or service environment 2. 5~8 years related working experience in Buying of multi-national company 3. Supplier qualification and negotiations 4. PMO (Leading Project) related experience 5. Cross-functional team participation 6. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (Good communication skill in both Chinese and English) 7. Strong negotiation skills 8. Ability to balance multiple priorities 9. Ability to work independently and create and implement processes 10. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills 11. Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities 12. Skillful in computer software: Excel, Words, MS Office, Website access & research etc 13. Able to travel in mainland China 14. Self-motivated, proactive, ownership mindset
Experience 1. Knowledge and experience in commercial (sales and marketing) preferred 2. Knowledge and experience in FMCG company is a plus 3. 5+ years related working experience of indirect buying in multi-national company
