Position Purpose: Lead and manage Asia Pacific International Trade regulations and trade security programs
Job Description: 61 Provide strong trade compliance support to DuPont’s business units. 61 Closely working with global export control leader and AP International Trade Services and Governance (ITSG) team. 61 Represent the AP ITSG team in the internal Export Control Leader network. 61 Serve as the primary contact for all export compliance matters for Asia Pacific. 61 Provide professional supports to BU for sustainable management and resolution of export control issues. 61 Develop internal and external network. This network should comprise of local and/or regional stakeholders, familiar with country and/or regional export control regulations and compliance requirements. 61 Be primary resource for corporate projects (capital projects, joint ventures, MA&D, etc.) that raises AP export control issues. 61 Compliance training and communication. 61 Manage and support Trade Security Program: Import and Export control, Sanction Party Screening
Export Compliance Specialist Responsibilities: 61 Follow corporate processes to ensure products, equipment and technology are not exported to sanctioned parties and/or persons and comply with DuPont global policy and local regulations. 61 Manage Red Flags and other escalations. o Facilitate specialized training when necessary. 61 Ensure compliance with corporate Sensitive Destination Policy. 61 Support BU’s ECCN (Export Control Classification Number) classifications o A working understanding of the BU’s export control regulated products, equipment and related technology to include their properties and market applications. o Ensure that all product ECCNs are: 1. Correct (including samples) 2. Communicated to all relevant stakeholders 3. Stored in designated corporate databases 61 Assist with Authorizations (Licensing and License Exceptions) o Ensure that all exports (product) are made in accordance with the export control corporate policies and procedures. Function as the primary contact for the CSRs for product shipments o Determine the export licensing needs or license exceptions for product, equipment and/or technology. Where necessary collaborate with Legal to determine licenses needed. o Ensure that all parties in the supply chain are aware of and agree to license conditions. o Facilitate regular training for the BU in partnership with ITSG, PS&R, Legal and 3PLs
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes 85 Strong knowledge of import, export, customs, trade compliance and chemical 61 Strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. 61 Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to work across multiple cultures, regions and market levels; analysts to senior leadership 61 Familiarity and experience with technological tools and processes 61 Fluent English, Chinese and communication skills
Education and Experience 61 Bachelor’s Degree (major in Chemical is preferred) 61 10 years of experience in International Trade Compliance
