The HR Systems Project Manager II leads cross-functional teams in executing small to mid-scale HR technology initiatives that enhance business processes and improve the employee experience. This role involves scoping projects, gathering/validating requirements, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of HR system enhancements and process optimizations. The ideal candidate has strong project management sills, knowledge of HR technology capabilities and the ability to work with stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution 61 Lead cross-functional teams on HR technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful execution within scope, timeline, and budget. 61 Develop and track project timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure smooth execution. 61 Create project timelines, status updates, and documentation to keep initiatives on track 61 Identify project risks and proactively escalate issues to senior project managers 61 Support user adoption by developing training materials, communications, and rollout plans. HR Systems Expertise & Business Engagement 61 Work with HR stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify HR system features that can address their needs, confirming technical solutions. 61 Translate business requirements into functional project roadmaps that align with HR system capabilities. Strategic Communication & Leadership Engagement: 61 Synthesize key project updates and communicate business implications to senior leadership and key stakeholders 61 Develop clear, data-driven reports and presentations to provide insights on project progress, risks, and system impacts 61 Lead monthly steering committee meetings, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned on project developments Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management 61 Ensure cross-functional alignment throughout project execution. 61 Leverage the HR Technology User Experience team during the development and post-implementation to gather user feedback, identifying areas for improvement. Process Improvement & Data Insights 61 Partner with HR teams to evaluate existing processes and recommend technology-driven optimizations. 61 Support HR data analysis by leveraging system-generated reports to drive decisions. Required Qualifications & Skills 61 Project Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver HR system-related projects. 61 HR Technology Knowledge: Proficiency with Workday modules and business processes and an understanding of how Workday supports a broad range of HR functions. 61 Process Improvement: Ability to analyze HR workflows and recommend technology-enabled enhancements. 61 Communication & Collaboration: Strong stakeholder management skills to engage with HR, IT, and vendors. 61 Innovation: Understands and can articulate current trends in the HR technology market. Preferred Qualifications 61 Experience working in a large enterprise or multi-national organization. 61 Exposure to HR reporting and analytics tools. Experience & Education Requirements: 61 A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR systems and HR project management or related role. 61 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required.
