Objectives of the Position - According to the general guidance developed on the basis of EHS mandatory requirements and Responsible Care® principles and practices, lead the implementation of the EHS programs to ensure the compliance of company, corporate and mandatory requirements. Assure management’s initiatives in Environmental Protection, take necessary actions to raise employee awareness of risks and to reduce, avoid and protect employee from hazards and occupational illnesses in the workplace.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities Environmental Protection management - Improve Environmental Protection management system according to RC questionnaire. - Create and continually improve rules and procedures of hazardous waste management and regular implementation of waste management requirements. - Responsible for environment comprehensive improvement action plan by SCIP - Plan and organize regular environment monitoring. - Keep close communication with relevant authorities. Occupational health management - Set up and continually improve occupational health management flows. - Coordinate occupational health management with RCGC Physician (*** aid training, *** aid kit management, medical inspection, etc.). - Responsible for occupational health management including physical health check etc. - Improve Health protection and industrial hygiene - Liaison with government authorities for legal issues. Others: - Acquire EHS approvals for project. - Keep good communicate with local authorities and third parties within defined areas. - Other tasks from supervisor.
Job Requirements Education: Bachelor Working Experience: More than 3 years’ experience in safety management and worked in chemical industries Technical & Professional Knowledge/Others: -Good knowledge of occupational safety. - Well understand occupational safety laws and regulations.
