Position: Senior Manager, Internal Communications Report to: Associate Director, Internal Communications Leader Location: Shanghai, China
Position Summary The Internal Communication Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in managing key internal projects such as the company's Annual Meeting, townhall and more (such as ignite people potential project, Pets Day etc.) This position focuses on creative design and project management, developing and implementing innovative plans to ensure the smooth running of these internal events, and effectively creating unique and meaningful engagement for employees while showcasing company strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Design - Design and implement comprehensive plans for the company's Annual Meetings, townhalls, Ignite Events, Office Moves, and other internal projects. Align these with the company's internal communication goals and strategic priorities by setting clear goals, defining deliverables, and determining project scope with IC leader. - Collaborate with TF team from BU and cross - functional teams to ensure the internal projects support broader company goals and effectively convey company strategies.
Creative Design Execution - Develop highly creative and engaging content for internal events, including visual materials, session ideation, and interactive elements. - Manage the full creative production process from concept to execution. Work with Creative agencies, and IC team pillar owners. Oversee tasks, provide feedback, ensure high - quality content and inspiring format to audience.
Project Management - Create and manage detailed timelines for all employee events. Break projects into tasks, assign responsibilities, set deadlines, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure on - time completion. Update timelines and closely work with IC leader. - Monitor and control project budgets. Estimate costs accurately at the start, track expenses, make cost - effective decisions, and closely with GP team. Ensure quality within budget. - Identify and mitigate potential risks during the planning and execution of all employee events, ensuring the smooth running of all activities.
Qualifications: Education - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields.
Experience - Minimum of 8 years of experience in Communications, Marketing, preferably in the healthcare or FMCG industries. - Internal Comms experience is preferred, including but not limited to Annual meeting, townhall, employee events etc.
Skills - Fluent English in listening, speaking, reading and writing. - Exceptional creativity, conceptual and organizational abilities. - Skilled in planning and executing large - scale internal projects, managing tasks, timelines, budgets, and resolving issues. - Proficient at collaborating with creative agencies to create highly engaging internal event content.
