工作职责: Department The Supplier Quality Assurance Department in Shanghai exists of 5 Quality Professionals and has a close working relation with both Supply Chain organization in Asia-Pacific and the QA organizations located in the Netherlands and United States. The purpose of the QA organization is to ensure parts and products are delivered and installed *** Time Right within Supply Chain Asia-Pacific. We achieve this by working together in a strong network of professionals within R&D, Purchasing, Engineering and Project Management. We own the process of Product Quality Issue Solving. Next to that the QA department also takes care of the process of Releasing Parts and Products in the Supply Chain. Moreover, we ensure the qualification of suppliers prior to doing business with them. You are reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager located in Shanghai.
Function The Quality Assurance engineer acts as an advisor and gatekeeper for maintaining the Vanderlande Product Quality Standard. He/She is the main coordinator for physical product inspections. Product Inspections are carried out on customer sites or at the location of the supplier and is highly knowledgeable on Vanderlande Material Handling equipment and Metrology. He/She is experiences in Geometrical Tolerancing and Dimensioning and can advise R&D colleagues on measurability.
Task 1. Plan measurements and inspections Make a risk-based selection of to be inspected Purchase Orders Communicate to suppliers about inspections that need to be performed Communicate changes in inspection planning to stakeholders
2. Perform measurements and inspections: Perform product quality inspections according to AQL-norm (28950) Write Test protocols Write and communicate formal measurement and inspection reports. Provides advise towards R&D engineers about measurability Trains suppliers in executing inspections, and functional tests (in case applicable)
3. Process measurements and inspections: Enter Inspection test results in the ERP system In case of a reject, process the so-called Supplier Corrective Action Request including organizing the containment action (repair, reimbursement.) Adjust the item/supplier relation in the ERP system according to the performance/results of the supplier
4. Monitor measurements and inspections: In collaboration generate overview of test results of supplier(s) – generate Pareto Acting as a mature partner to discuss the supplier's product quality performance
5. Solve problems: Give active follow up when a product deviation has been found. Assist with problem solving cases Perform Quality Walks and root cause investigation at Project Sites in order to support projects
6. Continuous improvement: Acting as mature partner for process improvement in quality assurance and related processes
Your Profile 1. Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering 2. Experience with Mechanical Metrology 3. Knowledge and experience with Geometrical Tolerancing and Dimensioning 4. Experience in applying problem solving methods (8D, 5xWhy.) 5. Good communicator and training skills 6. Analytical 7. Verbal and written communication in Chinese (Mandarin) and English. 8. Self-starter and planner of own work 9. Ability to think in business risks and opportunities 10. Based statistical knowledge (like Histogram, Process capability etc.) 11. At least 25% travel
