Regulatory Compliance & Documentation 61 Ensure full compliance of all products with Chinese food regulations (e.g., GB Standards, SAMR, CIQ, GACC). 61 Manage product registration, documentation, and submissions to Chinese authorities. 61 Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise internal teams proactively.
2. Labeling & Ingredient Compliance 61 Review and validate product labels to ensure compliance with China’s labeling requirements (e.g., GB standards, nutrition labeling, allergen declarations & etc.). 61 Assess ingredients against China’s approved food additive list and restricted substances.
3. Authorities & Stakeholder Engagement 61 Liaise with Chinese regulatory authorities (e.g., SAMR, GACC, CIQ, etc.) for product registration, certification, and approvals. 61 Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments (QA, Application & Recipes, Sales) to ensure smooth market entry.
4. Regulatory Strategy & Training 61 Monitor China’s food regulations and assess business impact. 61 Develop regulatory strategies for new product launches. 61 Conduct internal training and awareness on regulatory updates affecting business operations.
5. To perform any other duties and ad-hoc task as assigned by superior and management from time to time.
Job Qualifications : 61 Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Biotechnology, or related fields. 61 1-2 years in regulatory affairs, preferably in China’s food/FMCG industry. 61 Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 61 Strong knowledge of GB Standards, SAMR, GACC, and import/export regulations. 61 Experience in regulatory submissions, product labeling compliance, and ingredient assessments. 61 Fluent in Mandarin & English (written & spoken) 61 Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. 61 Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 61 Knowledge of global food regulatory frameworks (Codex, ASEAN, EU, US FDA) is an advantage.
