Job Summary: BMF Hydraulics is a division of the BMF group that sells hydraulic cylinders and other related mechanical components into international markets. The majority of these hydraulic cylinders and components are sourced from Asia (China and India) with the supply chain being overseen from the BMF Shanghai office. The role of the hydraulic division project manager would be to work with the existing supply chain and business teams to oversee, manage and communicate orders with the internationally based management and sales team. The project manager would also work closely with vendors to help ensure on time delivery, help resolve potential issues, and communicate the needs of the hydraulic division management and sales team.
Major Functions: - Ensure overall excellent customer service and support for BMF “internal customer” BMF Hydraulics Division - Communicate factory updates, changes, and problems with hydraulics management and sales team - Assist BMF supply chain and business groups to help communicate and coordinate: orders, lead times, and shipments. - Develop relationships with key suppliers in China and Asia with the support of BMF supply chain and business units - Work with existing supply chain team to help vendors manage capacity and lead times for BMF products - Assist BMF Hydraulics manager research and implement new ERP software for the BMF Hydraulics Division - Attend weekly zoom meetings with US based sales team
Qualifications:
Educational Background: - Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or logistics related field
Skills & Experience: - Strong English and Mandarin language skills, excellent communicator - Supply chain and or logistics experience - Project management experience - The ability to multitask multiple projects at once - Team player who can work with existing BMF supply chain and business groups and resources
