Write the next chapter of your ABB story. - General info. - Department: IAMP, Local Division China, Marine Engineering - Reporting Line: Engineering Manager - Company: CNAUS - Location: Shanghai Kangqiao - - Tasks: - – Sales Handover - ● Attend project handover meeting, review all technical documents and clarify all deviations. - ● Identify risks and opportunities. - – Basic Engineering - ● Acquires initial data from stakeholders. - ● Allocates engineering resources in the project together with the Engineering Manager. - ● Setup project communication plan together with project team members. - ● Prepare project engineering document list and submitting schedule plan. - ● Prepare project design philosophy and assign engineering templates / references. - ● Prepare / Attend external kickoff meeting, prepare question list to meeting and finalize the meeting minutes / action list. - ● Conduct basic technical review, finalize review report and action list. - – Detailed Engineering - ● Monitors the compliance of the engineering processes to operating procedures e.g. classification society’s rules and other standards. - ● Guides design works and design changes (Project Manager takes responsibility if the change is requested by Shipyards or Owner, and have impact on schedules or (and) costs) - ● Check project documents status and organize documents delivery. - ● Answers technical questions from stakeholders. - ● Organizes and leads project technical reviews and prepare review reports and action list. - ● Follow up design freeze plan and document approval status. - – Test - ● Sends FAT procedure and invites classification society and the customer for the test - ● Defines the systems and components to be tested. - ● Attends FAT if needed. - – Commissioning - ● Coordinates the as-built updates Participates in kickoff meeting with commissioning team and organizes technical handover. - ● Provides technical support of critical issues for commissioning. - ● Review final documents and software archive. - – Warranty Support - ● Join the warranty case studies if required. - ● Update engineering documentation or software - ● Collect site final test results - ● Update final documents / software - – Quality - ● Find join and Lead quality improvement projects. - ● Maintain engineering templates - ● Project lesson learns sharing - ● Quality issue capture from project engineering - Requirements: - – Electrical & Automation (Marine), Bachelor or Above. - – Overall marine & offshore electrical propulsion system knowledge - – Electrical propulsion system analysis - – Fluent English communication with customer and colleagues (Oral / Written) - – Ownership to own area of responsibility - – “Higher Quality” awareness on daily work - - Additional Information: - – With Lean 6 Sigma (L6S) yellow belt We value people from different backgrounds.
