¨ Drive the top-down forecast and adjust in-season OTB accordingly
¨ Manage monthly rolling demand forecast based on latest sales trend with particular attention on core/replenishment products (IPS), control bottoms up demand via MOP process
¨ Work with Inventory Management and allocation team to ensure consistent in-season allocation & replenishment to drive appropriate coverage and meet sales targets
¨ Manage in-season profitability and maximize full price sell thru and margin
¨ Partner with Merchandising team to manage product lifecycle in order to drive appropriate monthly flow (volume & PC9 count), in-season markdown, outlet transfers, etc.
On-going:
¨ Conduct quantitative analysis and insights (Gender/Category/Fit/Sub-class) to optimize line profitability—monetize new opportunities and identify risks
¨ Gather qualitative/quantitative feedback from key stakeholders (Sales team/ Merchandising/ Marketing) in order to inform future buy decision
¨ Bridge the communication between Sales, Planning, Marketing and IM teams to ensure ways of working and brand strategy are consistently executed in China market
Job Requirements
¨ Understand the retail model and retail industry in China
¨ Strong analytical skills to interpret meaningful themes from quantitative data
¨ Clear Logic to make decision and presentation
¨ Utilize strong interpersonal skills to build effective communication with diverse group of cross functional partners, influence cross-functional partners to arrive at optimal business decisions.
¨ Prioritize and manage workload and processes to meet objectives
¨ Comfort with systems and high proficiency with Microsoft Office (Powerpoint and excel).
¨ Prior experience with planning solutions (SAS, SAP, etc.) a plus
