How you will create an impact
- Report to Casualty branch manage; review new application/renewal requests, evaluate risks
- Prepare and present quotations to producers, work with producing channels to achieve production goals
- Check policies and endorsements, complete underwriting filing documents
- Provide technical supports and training to producing channels
- Meet with clients and brokers to promote Casualty product, interact and negotiate with clients directly when needed
- Monitor loss ratio for responsible portfolio and implement necessary improvement measures
- Provide technical advice to Claims regarding scope of coverage, interpretation of wordings, etc.
- Participate in AIG corporate AML training, and be obligated to perform AML related duties, including KYC, large/suspicious transaction reports, high-risk customer reports etc.
- Ad-hoc tasks/projects assigned by managers.

What you’ll need to succeed
- Underwriting experience is preferred; however, you are welcome to apply if you have other relevant professional experience.
- The ability to analyze financial statements.
- Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
