Job Purpose
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that all company operations and business transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will play a key role in reviewing employee practices, advising on compliance matters, and supporting risk management initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities
Monitor Compliance: Ensure all business activities adhere to applicable legal, regulatory, and internal standards, with a focus on data privacy, client confidentiality, and anti-bribery/anti-corruption.

Policy Development: Draft, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures tailored to the expert network industry.

Employee Training: Conduct regular training sessions and provide guidance to employees on compliance best practices and regulatory changes.

Risk Assessment: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential legal and compliance risks across the organization.

Internal Audits: Perform periodic audits of internal processes, client engagements, and expert interactions to ensure ongoing compliance.

Incident Management: Investigate and respond to compliance incidents, escalating issues as needed and recommending corrective actions.

Regulatory Liaison: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and act as the point of contact for regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in law, preferable with professional certification (e.g. PRC bar qualification)
