Job Responsibilities: 1.Supplier Development & Evaluation Conduct qualification reviews, technical assessments, and onboarding of new transformer suppliers to ensure compliance with company technical, quality, and cost requirements. Lead on-site supplier audits (covering quality systems, production processes, problem response capabilities, etc.) and drive continuous improvement. 2.Problem-Solving & Quality Management Lead root cause analysis for transformer-related quality issues (e.g., discharge, insulation failure, abnormal temperature rise, noise) and coordinate corrective actions (8D/5Why, etc.). Monitor supplier delivery quality (e.g., DPPM, ORT pass rate) and manage non-conforming product resolution & claims processes. 3.Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement Collaborate with R&D and procurement to optimize transformer design (e.g., material substitution, process simplification) and achieve annual cost-saving targets based on quality ensure. Identify supplier capability gaps and develop improvement plans. 4.Supplier Performance Management Establish a KPI evaluation system (quality, delivery, service, cost) and periodically assess suppliers, eliminating underperformers. 5.Cross-Functional Collaboration Support production teams in rapid issue resolution. Assist R&D in transformer selection, technical standard setting, and sample approval (e.g., PPAP review). Aid procurement in contract negotiations, pricing agreements, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications: 1. Mandatory Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Materials Science, or related fields. Experience: 3+ years in supplier management or quality management for transformers/electronic components (CT, ACT, IGCT, IGBT, etc.). Experience in the inverter industry is a plus. Skills: Proficient in transformer design/manufacturing (e.g., winding, impregnation, testing) and key parameters (efficiency, loss, withstand voltage). Strong knowledge of quality tools (SPC, FMEA, APQP) and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why). Fluent in technical English (spoken communication preferred). 2. Soft Skills Logical thinker with strong data analysis and cross-functional coordination skills; able to articulate ideas clearly and drive actions promptly. Resilient under pressure; willing to travel (~20% for supplier visits). 3. Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), Project Management (PMP), etc. Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, 8D, FMEA, SPC. Knowledge of GB/IEC/UL standards for transformers (e.g., IEC 61558, UL 60601). Proven success in VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) or cost optimization projects.
Department Support: Access to an industry-leading supplier management platform and mature supply chain network. Clear career growth paths (technical expert or management track).
