Principal responsibilities — Screening and evaluating legal and quality requirements in proposal projects; where suitable, proactively suggesting an optimized economic and technical solution to the PM and/or the client — Establishing comprehensive code concepts for pressurized equipment (i.e. pressure vessels, Arrangement and Execution of the inspection. Determine non-conformities, define possible corrective measures (for non-critical non-conformities) or stipulate (for critical non-conformities) — Preparing Regulatory and Quality Requirements (T-SA documents) for projects and Verifying supplier documents (e.g. specifications, drawings) with respect to the fulfilment of project requirements — Performing inspections of purchased equipment and/or material for compliance with project specifications — Engineering the conformity assessment for equipment and materials. — Creating the material concept and material requirements of Linde Engineering (LE) process plants, considering the licenser's needs and LE's corrosion requirements for pressure equipment — Coordinating failure investigation and special material topics — Providing support in finding solutions for material problems and failure issues at LE plants in operation including participation in plant assessments at shutdowns — Establishing concepts and purchasing specifications in the fields of corrosion protection.
Required qualifications/experiences — Education: Bachelor or above of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Fabrication Engineering, welding Engineering, or QAQC Engineer. — minimum 5 years for Bachelor and minimum 2 years for Master in Material or QAQC service of pipe, fittings, vessel, or steel structure, etc. — In-depth knowledge of pressurized equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, piping systems, ) and steel structure. — Familiarity with engineering principles related to corrosion protection, material selection, and failure analysis. — expertise in international standards such as ASME, ISO, API, EN, and other relevant industry codes for pressurized equipment and materials. — Familiarity with legal and quality requirements in APAC engineering projects. — Solid understanding of material properties, behavior, and compatibility in various environments. — Knowledge of corrosion protection strategies and standards specific to process industries. — Ability to perform material conformity assessments, and supplier document reviews (e.g., specifications and drawings, MTC). — Capability to analyze failures, investigate root causes, and propose optimized technical solutions. — Ability to evaluate economic and technical impacts and proactively suggest improvements. — Very good communication skills combined with assertiveness in project execution with teams from internal entities, external workforce, international suppliers, and clients. — Fluency in English language (written and spoken). — IT skills such as MS Word & Excel as a minimum
