To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer located in Jiading Shanghai. This role will provide effective and efficient failure analysis in NPI, TPI, volume production, internal and external claim analysis and QCC activities. The role is included within Technology and Quality Department at FPM, reporting to Customer Quality Manager.

What a typical day looks like:
61 In charge of failure analysis for products failed on customer side and support failure analysis for in-house production and in manufacturing process as request.
61 Provide failure analysis support to new product introduction.
61 Provide technical support to repair worker in FPM production.
61 Be the member of QCC to drive the failure analysis and find the root cause of critical issues.
61 Responsible for 8D report generation which cover D1 to D4.
61 Analyse the root cause of internal and external claimed critical issues.
61 Analyse the products that failed in production and figure out faults using statistics tools
61 Contact R&D closely to report critical quality problems found in production site.
61 Keep close contact with field application engineer to furthest reduce wrong claims.
61 Provide technical support for trouble shooters during troubleshooting.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
61 Bachelor degree or above in electronics engineering or relevant.
61 At least 5 years relevant working experience focus on failure analysis, within electronics industry or semiconductor industry.
61 Familiar with manufacturing process and test methods.
61 Good at utilizing advanced electronic systems used in the testing of power products for hardware failure analysis.
61 Capable of providing basic electronic trouble shooting skills, especially in problems between test software and hardware.
61 Basic knowledge of 6 sigma and statistics tools, yellow-belt preferable.
61 Fluent English in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.
61 Good communication skills.
61 Good teamwork.
