MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
System engineering proficiency
à Self-motivated in proficiency improvement in mastering Process, Product, Domain and Tools
à R&D development timing schedule according to project time line
à Responsible for design and implementation of product features according to collected and formalized customer requirement
à Document system requirements and manage traceability matrices to ensure the design achieves all the requirements
Product owner and responsible to drive and leading R&D function teams (e.g. software, electrical, mechanical, validation test and functional test etc.) to achieve project technical development plan, ensure development team communication transparent and report in proper channel
à Ensure project deliverables meet customer technical requirement or specification (including DVPR), on time and within budget.
à Responsible Key User for core business processes (and corresponding tools), such as Product Evolution Process, System Engineering Process, PROCO Sample Process and Engineering Change Management
à Technical interface to customer and to internal departments, Leading and delegating related working package to development team
à Technical support for product industrialization
à Build the long-term relationships with existing and prospective customers
à Support Quality team for in-depth product failure analysis
à Recommend product modifications based on financial impact (VAVE)
System Engineering Seniority
à Leading the technical activities for new project acquisition, create and/or review product concept offering
à Support sales team in acquisition and cost calculation activities to ensure competitive and profitable price quoted.
à Coach and support R&D team to improve technical skills. Be consultant in design reviews and problem solving activities occurred in daily work within team.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE)
à Bachelor’s degree with engineering background plus minimal 10 years working experience or Master degree plus minimal 5 years working experience
à Strong technical and development process knowledge in mechanical or electronics design for auto parts/components (especially panel switches or embeded electronics components).
à Good communication skills both with customers and internal project team, Good interpersonal skills
