Job Description : Senior Planning Manager / Planning Director
He/she is a talented and experienced Senior Planner Manager to lead strategy for our SCJ China team. Based in Shanghai, this role will be pivotal in driving business growth through the development and execution of innovative and effective strategies.
Responsibilities: 61 Lead the strategic planning process for SCJ China, aligning with overall business objectives and brand strategies. 61 Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies across various channels, including digital, social, and e-commerce. 61 Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights, trends, and competitive opportunities. 61 Translate global strategies and campaigns into locally relevant and impactful initiatives for the Chinese market. 61 Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and account management, to ensure seamless execution of strategies. 61 Develop and present strategic recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders. 61 Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization. 61 Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in marketing, advertising, and technology. 61 Mentor and guide junior team members.
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 61 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, preferably within an advertising agency or marketing consultancy. 61 Proven experience working on global brands and adapting strategies for local markets. 61 Strong understanding of the Chinese consumer landscape and market dynamics. 61 Extensive experience in the FMCG industry. 61 Experience with shopper marketing and/or social commerce is highly desirable. 61 Native-level fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. 61 Ability to independently present and take briefs in English. 61 Strong understanding and communication skills in Mandarin Chinese to effectively collaborate with local teams. 61 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills. 61 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
