Technical Service Engineer

Huntsman’s Polyurethanes division is now looking for a TSE to focus on Tecnoelastomeri business.
The Tech Service Engineer is responsible for technical solution and application development of hot casting PU (HTE) business (including both materials systems and Castech machine) to support sustainable growth of Asia region.
This role is located in Huntsman Campus, Shanghai(Minhang district).

As the Technical Service, you will:
- Fully complies with Huntsman policy and Local EHS regulation
- Responsible for technical solutions and application development of hot casting PU business
- Responsible for the operation of in-house casting machines at ATC including daily maintenance, samples preparation & samples testing etc
- Responsible for technical inquiries to sales/ marketing/ customers and provide on-site technical support and line trial when needed
- Responsible to visit customer site on start- up training, demonstration, trouble shooting, QC inspection and sample validation trials. Capable and comfortable to make instant technical decisions independently
- Support sales and marketing in closing growth projects
- Support technical verification for claims and complaints
- Assist in the preparation on application information for all case studies, seminars and exhibitions

Skills and experiences required:
Education:
Minimum B.S in chemical engineering, engineering, chemistry or related field.
Experiences:
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in technical service, research & development or production with chemical and/or engineering multinational company.
Good PC skills.
Basic English verbal and written communication skills.
Capability to handle confidential information in a very dynamic environment and be complied with the company compliance policy all the time.
