Job Responsibilities: The individual will serve as an on-site application engineer to participate in and support aircraft fuel & inerting system products research and development activities, including but not limited to, requirements management, drawing/documents configuration control and distribution, certification management, production support, etc. Detailed as follows: 83 Solve/support technical issue discussion such as test procedure preparation and standard explanation and communicate from technical perspective to the US based Parker team and Parker aerospace OEM customers in China. 83 Create/compile technical documentation as required to satisfy contractual deliverable requirements. 83 Provide engineering support on installation, testing and sustaining manufacturing and maintenance work coordination on Parker FSD’s behalf. 83 Work independently as a team member in support of completing assigned responsibilities. This individual will work under the supervision of the Engineering manager. 83 Track and follow up technical action items and keep good records of communications between all parties. 83 Provide instruction/guidance and engineering service/support to Parker partners in China. Qualifications: 83 Fluent English/Mandarin verbal and written translation skills must be demonstrated. Candidate must effectively communicate with multi-functional team comprised of engineering, quality, CSO and program team members. 83 Able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and has exceptional initiative, paying close attention to details and follow-up as required 83 Familiar with aircraft component and system development process, including but not limited to the following: ARP4754A, CCAR25, DO160, etc. 83 Capable of leading qualification testing, including lab test, rig test, in terms of test planning/requirements/data reduction and analysis. 83 Excellent technical writing capability to prepare/support document deliverables. 83 Able to work in a fast pace, to ensure internal/external customer requirements are met (i.e., must be a proactive self-starter). 83 Computer skills – CATIA V5 or other similar drawing software, MS Word/excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc. 83 BS, majored in aerospace mechanical design, or aircraft engineering. 83 5-10 experience in aircraft components/parts design/analysis, testing and certification. 83 Experienced in aerospace systems engineering methodology and/or aerospace components/parts design and testing.
