KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB The role will oversee the Visual Merchandising function for icebreaker stores and be responsible for ensuring consistent and elevated brand representation across all retail touchpoints. Combining strategic vision with hands-on execution, this position optimizes in-store experiences—from new store launches to ongoing retail operations.
JOB DESCRIPTION New Store Opening Support - Conduct rigorous review of construction drawings, VM floor plans to ensure the smooth progress of the construction - Coordinate with Internal team and external construction team to align store design with brand guidelines. - Conduct post-launch evaluations and provide actionable feedback to optimize future store setups.
VM Standards Development & Execution - Develop seasonal and foundational visual merchandising guidelines to maximize sales performance and ensure alignment with brand strategy. - Maintain proactive communication with dealer VM helpers to guarantee consistent implementation of VM standards across all store locations. - Continuously refine and upgrade VM props to elevate in-store customer experiences through data-driven enhancements. - Conduct comprehensive VM training programs for customer teams and vendors, incorporating seasonal updates to ensure full compliance with VM Standards. - Establish a store scoring mechanism, develop standardized scorecards to monitor compliance, and implement corrective action plans for non-compliant locations.
Retail Marketing Activation - Partner with marketing to localize in-store campaigns, ensuring seamless integration with retail operations. - Provide daily retail promotion activities based on sales demands, plan and execute GWP projects, and ensure assistance in achieving business targets - Track campaign performance and refine strategies.
REQUIREMENTS - 6-8 years' solid experience in Visual Merchandising with international brands - Strong knowledge and background in Visual Merchandising and Graphics - Innovative, Creative, Proactive, Attention-to-details - A good team-player with strong communication skills - Excellent time management with high multi-tasking skills - Willing to travel frequently in China - Fluency in English
