ORGANIZATION & POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position reports into Honeywell’s Building Automation Group (BA) Greater China. The candidate will be a core member of BA GC pricing & commercial team and expected to be responsible for all pricing related activities as well as other tasks related to boarder commercial functions as requested. You are expected to work closely with global and local pricing, offering management, finance, sourcing etc. and senior management team, to maximize profitability of the business by systematically deploying key pricing levers. This position will have unparalleled exposure to senior leaders within the organization, and a view of the entire BA portfolio. After gaining sufficient experience, a natural career progression will be either a managerial level in the same function, or a position in boarder commercial team02 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 80Develop and implement sophisticated pricing strategy for BA Greater China and each LoBs. 80Utilize and develop digital tools to improve price management accuracy and efficiency 80Partner with local offering management leaders & other function leaders to develop and execute differentiated pricing strategies. Gain agreement of price actions, timelines and effectively execute. 80Work with global pricing team to ensure alignment of pricing strategies & AOP; Implement the Honeywell Pricing Global Design Model, which includes improving processes around Price Setting, Getting and Netting activities, etc. 80Own the annual list price setting processes. Work with offering management, marketing and sales to evaluate and provide recommendations on list price actions. Utilize best practice price setting capabilities (elasticity, 80/20 etc.) to develop targeted price recommendations. 80Develop a pipeline of price actions throughout the year that will ensure attainment of the price plan. Develop and execute a transactional price strategy that includes reduced discounting, freight recovery and/or improved T&C payment term. 80Report monthly price realization. Support all pricing reviews with region and BA leadership teams. 80Respond to tactical price updates or queries from sales and customer care. Update appropriate systems. 80Support other commercial function activities as requested 80Perform other pricing related work as requested QUALIFICATIONS: 805+ years of full-time working experience in an analytical field, preferably with a professional service background (e.g. management consulting, market research firm, research dept. in investment banking, etc.) 80Pricing related experience & certificate is a plus 80Strong communication skills in written and spoken English & Chinese 80Outstanding analytical skills in both qualitative and quantitative way, ability to synthesize multiple perspectives into frameworks 80Strong business sense, strategic thinking & problem-solving capability 80Self-starter and able to work with limited supervision.
