The role is accountable for 61 Assigned region: Primarily focus on GCN 61 Collaborate with CEVA global/Regional chartering team and China project team to find BB charter solution.
Key Accountabilities - Find best solution for commercial RFQs - Negotiate and execute charter parties / booking & fixture notes - Support pricing/operations department on developing commercial proposals. - Manage and cultivate long term relationships of existing shipping lines - Following of CEVA chartering procedures, templates. - Creation and distribution lists and supplier list and making reports - Assist in forming and executing commercial strategies, marketing and business development principally within the assigned region and/or other areas - Participate in the collecting and sharing of freight market information across the commercial team - Local meetings and overseas travel when required in the support of business development and customer management. - Other tasks assigned by line manager
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Logistics or Maritime school or Transport engineering - Chartering professional ideally with 5+years international Break bulk cargo chartering/trading experience -Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. - Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers. - Problem solver
