Key Qualifications Educational Background: 61 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related fields. Professional Skills: 86 8+ years of QHSE management experience in global port operations, shipping, or heavy industries, with expertise in cross-border regulatory environments. 86 Proven track record in developing and implementing global SOPs for port operations (e.g., container terminal workflows, bulk cargo safety protocols). Technical Skills 61 In-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISM Code, ILO conventions) and regional regulations (e.g., OSHA, EU Directives). 61 Proficiency in digital tools for SOP documentation (e.g., SharePoint), risk assessment software, and data analytics platforms. Certifications 61 Required: NEBOSH International Diploma, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or equivalent. 61 Preferred: ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, IOSH Membership, or hazardous cargo handling certifications (e.g., IMDG Code).
