Our Core Business: 61 Global Dry Bulk Freight 61 Industrial Projects Logistics & Renewable Energy Supply Chain Innovation Key Responsibilities 86 QHSE System Management o Develop, implement, and maintain the port’s QHSE management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other global/regional regulatory standards. o Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections to identify hazards and drive corrective actions. 86 Global SOP Development & Implementation o Lead the establishment, standardization, and continuous improvement of global port operational SOPs (e.g., cargo handling, hazardous material management, emergency response), ensuring alignment with IMO, SOLAS, and local regulations. o Collaborate with international port teams to adapt SOPs to regional requirements while maintaining global consistency in safety and quality practices. 86 Compliance & Regulatory Affairs o Monitor compliance with international maritime laws (e.g., MARPOL, ISPS Code), port state control (PSC) regulations, and environmental policies across multiple jurisdictions. o Liaise with global stakeholders (e.g., shipping lines, terminal operators) to ensure adherence to contractual and statutory obligations. 86 Incident Prevention & Crisis Management o Investigate incidents (e.g., spills, equipment failures, workplace injuries), perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures. o Design and test global emergency response protocols (e.g., fire, chemical leaks, cybersecurity threats) to ensure readiness across port facilities. 86 Training & Culture Building o Deliver QHSE training programs (e.g., PPE usage, crane safety, environmental stewardship) tailored to diverse port operations and workforce backgrounds. o Foster a proactive safety culture through campaigns, workshops, and KPIs tracking (e.g., near-miss reporting rates). 86 Environmental & Sustainability Initiatives o Oversee environmental monitoring (e.g., air/water quality, waste recycling) and drive decarbonization strategies (e.g., electrification of port equipment, renewable energy adoption). o Align port operations with global sustainability frameworks (e.g., UN SDGs, ESG reporting requirements). 86 Cross-Regional Coordination o Act as the primary contact for governmental agencies, classification societies (e.g., DNV, Lloyd’s Register), and internal/external auditors during QHSE certifications. o Support global port expansions by integrating QHSE standards into new projects and ensuring SOP compliance during ramp-up phases. Key Qualifications Educational Background: 61 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Maritime Studies, or related fields. Professional Skills: 86 8+ years of QHSE management experience in global port operations, shipping, or heavy industries, with expertise in cross-border regulatory environments. 86 Proven track record in developing and implementing global SOPs for port operations (e.g., container terminal workflows, bulk cargo safety protocols). Technical Skills 61 In-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISM Code, ILO conventions) and regional regulations (e.g., OSHA, EU Directives). 61 Proficiency in digital tools for SOP documentation (e.g., SharePoint), risk assessment software, and data analytics platforms. Certifications 61 Required: NEBOSH International Diploma, CSP (Certified Safety Professional), or equivalent. 61 Preferred: ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor, IOSH Membership, or hazardous cargo handling certifications (e.g., IMDG Code).
