o Research, identify, and source innovative technical fabrics (e.g., moisture-wicking, weather-resistant, stretch, lightweight) tailored to outdoor, training, and golf apparel.
o Evaluate materials for performance, durability, cost, and sustainability.
o Build and maintain relationships with material suppliers, negotiating costs and ensuring timely delivery.
85 Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with Design, Merchandising, PD teams to align material choices with design vision and functional needs.
o Provide technical expertise during prototyping, addressing material challenges (e.g., fit, weight, compliance).
85 Quality & Compliance
o Oversee material testing (e.g., abrasion resistance, colorfastness) to meet industry and brand standards.
o Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical sourcing practices.

o Maintain an organized material library with swatches, specifications, and testing reports.
o Track development timelines and deadlines to keep product launches on schedule
