1. Government Coordination for Business Development - Handle day-to-day communication and coordination with Chinese government at central and provincial level for high-level meetings and business opportunities. - Follow up action on meetings with government and push forward internal coordination across internal functions.
2. Gov Events Management: - Have clear timetable for major events of relevance hosted by government. - Plan and execute year-round participation in key gov events for global and China leadership.
3. High-level Visits Organization: - Coordinate internally to assist visit agenda for Chairman/CEO. - Coordinate externally with government counterparties to confirm meetings. - Coordinate with HQ functions to receive senior Chinese government officials visiting KSA.
4. Stakeholder Management: - Form government stakeholder mapping. - Form government engagement database.
4. Government Relations & Advocacy - Monitor and analyze local, provincial, central, and international legislation, regulations, and policies affecting the organization. - Assist in developing and implementing advocacy strategies to influence policy outcomes in alignment with organizational goals. - Prepare position papers, testimony, and briefing materials. - Track and report on government activities, policy trends, and potential risks/opportunities.
5. Ad hoc Projects. - Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
Requirements: - Minimum 5 years + working experience. - Prefer the candidate with work experience in government / sizable mature multi-national company. - Proficient in government protocols and work procedures with a deep understanding of government work and structure. - Exceptional English and Chinese communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. - Outstanding coordination skills, able to develop plan amid changes with strong will to coordinate across departments. - Good team player. - Pursuit of professionalism. - Honor responsibility and ownership. - Detail and result-driven traits. - Good adaptability and quick learner. - Excellent Microsoft skills.
