Position Summary: The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a strong focus on localization projects and new product development (NPD). This role requires close collaboration with R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify and qualify suppliers, negotiate costs, and ensure supply chain resilience. This position will specifically focus on non-metallic components development, manage the sourcing development projects and localization projects, and support NPD projects and will have a proven track record in project-driven procurement, supplier development, and cross-functional teamwork. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 61 Focus on the on non-metallic components development, manage the sourcing development projects and localization projects, and support NPD projects Manage suppliers’ performance and maintain the proper supplier relationship to secure new materials delivery on time. 61 Lead the activities of supplier qualification and materials qualification to meet the project time line 61 Create the raw material’s and new supplier’s master data in QAD system and company’s TPG system. 61 Collaborate with Engineering in NPD and mass production projects, aligning material flows and supplier resources with project milestones. 61 Develop procurement plans, mitigate supply risks, and support prototype, pilot, and ramp-up phases. 61 Identify and manage strategic suppliers, lead project procurement negotiations (cost/delivery/quality). 61 Drive Early Supplier Involvement (ESI) to support Engineering in technical specifications and part development. 61 Act as supply chain liaison in project meetings, coordinating with production, logistics, and QA teams. 61 Perform spend data and analytics; manage supply risk with mitigation plans; effectively tracking and reporting supply chain initiatives results. 61 Manage the development of multiple suppliers, as well as the criteria for contract negotiations and administration. 61 Develop ideas and lead projects to improve working capital (planning, inventory, payment terms, service) and other supply chain initiatives across global business units. 61 Provide cost savings recommendations and ensure spend is within budget; lead or assist with supply chain projects and initiatives as required. 61 Comply with safety and corporate guidelines on business ethics. 61 Ensure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized Qualifications/Requirements 61 Bachelor’s Degree is required (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field). 61 8+ years of experience on new material development in a manufacturing environment preferably in pump industry. 61 Familiar with the process of machining, casting , injection modeling or pressing forming 61 Experience with lean manufacturing techniques, project management, supplier management 61 Excellent people communication and negotiation skills and adaptable to change, and strong presentation skills to present to upper management. 61 Lead large cross-functional teams through an end-to-end project lifecycle to implement new processes and systems. 61 The candidates with experience in Biopharma and semiconductor market will be given priority 61 Master necessary quality tools and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiar with ISO9000 series.
