1. Coordinates the activities related to the efficacy evaluation and scientific valorization of cosmetic ingredients to bring the product from scientific positioning to in vitro testing and clinical evaluation 2. Independently designs, plans, and drives projects to fulfill product and/or customer requirement while closely aligning with the team in charge of performing the studies to ensure feasibility and delivery of the project on time and within budget 3. Interacts independently, timely and proactively with international stakeholders and the different teams involved in the concept creation and product development 4. Prepares and completes scientific reports independently according to the requirements and ensures quality of the data delivered. Identifies potential for publication and integrates it within the scientific communication strategy 5. Performs literature search to ensure study proposals are tailored for each project and according to the latest scientific discoveries. Stays up to date to the latest innovation. 6. Exchanges with the different team members on experimental plans and optimal study design 7. Coordinates with claim strategy, biological evaluation and clinical evaluation teams to ensure optimal planning and completion of activities within the projects 8. Communicates with other functions (e.g. marketing, innovation, product management, business development) beyond the Skin Institute depending on the project requirements 9. Works closely with the business developers to ensure timely exchanges with customers when required 10. Represents the Skin Institute at conferences and at external meetings 11. Identifies new biological topics and potential partners or technologies from the China market to be adopted globally.
REQUIREMENTS
1. MSc or PhD in biological sciences with knowledge of skin biology and/or cosmetic efficacy 2. At least 5-7 years of experience in project management in the cosmetic industry 3. Ability to work with a diverse team in an international setup and excellent communication skills; fosters a collaborative environment 4. Proficiency in English and Chinese is mandatory. 5. Ability to work in a matrix organization in an international setup.
