1. Determine & deliver the annual sourcing budget plan and hit the KPI with line manager. 2. Manage supplier relationships and negotiation to deliver reduction in cost of goods sold, *** to market, supplier income and effective supply chain and sound cost management/analysis skill. 3. Manage the whole process of sourcing and purchasing fashion, raw materials, and accessories. Select & develop profitable new lines with results driven for the UK/NZ & USA market. 4. Excellent communication & negotiation skill with both internal and external entities. 5. Work with QA & suppliers towards continual product improvement, preferable familiar with hardline testing requirements. 6. A commitment to ensure that all sources of printing industry accessories &Plastic &soft toys, all hardgoods are from known & legal sources and sourcing of qualified products are offered to buying teams as part of our continual improvement in this area. 7. Lead & develop innovative range & sourcing plans, ensure all product and suppliers meet the minimum UK/New Zealand and EU/USA standards. 8. Well management the development tracking plan of each season & ranges, monitoring the sample approval status as sound delivery. 9. Keep a log of reliable vendors for necessary items for production; constantly source additional and alternative suppliers with good supplier management skill.
Requirements:
1. At least 5 years’ experience of buying office in related hardgoods sourcing and purchasing of home/seasonal/hard lines and other related accessories. 2. Familiar with the UK/NZ and EU/USA market and can handle the category independently, dealing with buyers directly and result oriented. 3.Good Knowledge with hardline & sound in relevant product, preferably in Gifting, accessories/Seasonal. 3. Preferable to have sourcing experiences on both hardlines and accessories with abundant supplier resources. Printing industry background would be a plus. 4. Strong capability in sourcing role, problem solver, influential communication, technical skill in development, production follow up and price negotiation. 5. Must be able to effectively interact with inter-company departments and outside factories and efficient in follow-up. 6. Ability to work independently and works effectively under pressure and a good multi-task handler Must know how to prioritize tasks to ensure smooth workflow. 7. Resourceful, hard-working, self-motivated and with initiative and positive disposition 8. Good command of written and oral English. 9. Knowledge of the operation of business software (Microsoft Office), E.g., VLOOKUP and PPT. 10. At least 3-5 years buying office work experiences is a MUST.
