Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth, in China. This entails potential client approach & networking, partner development & management, client communication, and providing value-added advisory for clients during the sales process. Moreover, candidates will support with marketing and event management. In addition, they will also be responsible for market research, analyzing market trends, and providing insights to internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners and clients to build new business for the company, with a focus on face-to-face meetings. Candidates should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. They should have at least a few years of relevant professional services industry experience.
Your responsibilities 61 Promote Acclime's services in China. 61 Meet several hundred clients and partners annually to thoroughly understand their business and identify current needs. 61 Lead tracking, active follow up, and deal closing. 61 Attend and organise events. 61 Develop and execute initiatives that follow Acclime's industry focus and attract new clients. 61 At times, ‘cold approach’ potential clients to complement marketing to existing clients, re-enter the conversation with former clients and contacts acquired through partners, events, and other marketing activities. 61 Cooperate with other service teams to provide solutions for clients, understand our capabilities and communicate them to current and potential clients. Performance Assessment: 61 Responsible for sales operations and sales targets. 61 New account development and market development. 61 Support of marketing & events. Who are we looking for: 61 Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 61 Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field is a must; with a particular emphasis on corporate or at least professional services. 61 Good knowledge of corporate, accounting, tax and advisory services and understanding of the Asian market in general and China in particular. 61 Ability to work within clearly defined KPIs towards joint company goals. 61 Capable of analysing market trends and identify business opportunities. 61 Fluency in English; German, French and/ or Mandarin advantageous. 61 Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills. 61 Outgoing, self-motivated, goal-oriented, analytic, and independent personality. 61 Existing network with US and EU based companies
