This is an APAC role to reinforce our Finance Control department, we are looking for an experienced and high potential talent with excellent sense of urgency and communication skills to drive continuous improvement across all countries with a complex process structure and in a context of significant acquisitions/ integrations.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? 61 Manages liaison with Central Financial Control 61 Inspire an internal control culture in the Countries. 61 Set adequate procedures designed to prevent accounting errors and ensure quality of financial operations 61 Develop monitoring control across country network within the region 61 Evaluate/ quantify any control deficiencies and assist in implementing control enhancements or process modifications with maximum effectiveness and business efficiency (including Information Technology risks and controls). 61 Ensure specific accounting treatments, estimates & judgments, as well as complex accounting issues are aligned with GHO when required and properly accounted for 61 Ensure compliant group accounts with consistent quality – Compliance of Group Chart of Account, reporting Guidelines 61 Build a robust Balance Sheet review strategy and ensure it is effectively enforced in the Region 61 External / internal audit liaison 61 Enforce on time closing for the month, and constantly explore opportunity for improvement in efficiency and accuracy. 61 Liaison with global finance team on transformation projects 61 Oversee quality of month end reporting, e.g. accuracy of business statistics reported by SSC 61 Support ad hoc request from business for better understanding of numbers reported 61 Any other projects assigned by line manager
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 61 Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance 61 5+ years working experience in Public Accounting, MNC and exposure to multinational environments and have experience in financial statement audit, or reporting 61 Industry experience is preferred but not essential 61 Experiences managing Business Process Outsourcing is a plus. 61 Conversational fluent and ability to communicate in English 61 Ability to work across function, countries and products within the organization to deliver quality work on schedule. 61 Self-motivated, ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision and get the financial control activity up and running 61 Embrace changes and drives innovation.
