As we accelerate growth in the Indian market, we seek a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive our strategic expansion. Job Responsibilities 1. Key Account Management: Build and maintain long - term, strategic relationships with major textile industry clients in India. Understand their business needs, anticipate challenges, and develop customized solutions using our textile machinery products and services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. 2. Channel Management: Oversee and optimize the sales channels in India, including distributors, agents, and partnerships. Develop and implement channel strategies to enhance market penetration, expand market share, and drive sales growth. Provide training, support, and performance evaluation to channel partners. 3. Spare Parts Sales Management: Drive spare parts sales growth through proactive client engagement and data-driven inventory planning. Implement pricing strategies and promotions to maximize aftermarket revenue. 4. Customer Service Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of service engineers and technical support staff. Ensure timely resolution of customer technical issues, optimizing service efficiency and customer satisfaction. 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy Execution:Act as the primary liaison between India operations and Global/Regional HQ. Execute HQ sales/marketing initiatives locally, adapting strategies to Indian market dynamics. Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and quarterly growth reports. Achieve the revenue growth targets for machinery, spare parts, and service contracts. Identify new market segments (e.g., technical textiles, sustainable manufacturing) and develop entry plans. Qualifications & Experience 61 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Technology, or Business. MBA preferred. 61 Experience: o 8+ years in B2B industrial sales, with 5+ years focused on textile machinery (e.g., weaving, spinning, knitting, or finishing equipment). o Proven success in managing key accounts (e.g., Arvind, Welspun, Vardhman) and dealer networks in India. o Experience leading after-sales/service teams in capital equipment industries. 61 Technical Skills: o Deep understanding of textile manufacturing processes and machinery. o Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics. 61 Soft Skills: o Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. o Ability to thrive in a matrix organization and bridge HQ-field priorities. o Fluent in English and Hindi; regional language skills (e.g., Tamil, Gujarati) are a plus. 61 Mindset: Results-driven, entrepreneurial, and adaptable to fast-paced markets.
