Regional Product Manager Taura is responsible for the execution of the Taura strategy in Greater Asia with a focus on China to maximize growth and profitability. The main responsibilities in this role are: - Develop and drive product execution plans (growth initiatives) to meet budget objectives. - Contribute to the development of the Taura Great Asia strategy. Gather, analyze, and communicate market/competitive intelligence, highlighting and quantifying key market leads, opportunities and risks in collaboration with the IFF Regional Ingredient Sales teams. - Execute product launches, support development of new applications/offerings in collaboration with innovation teams. - Position the Taura product line in key market categories and communicate the product priorities, and value proposition. - Build alignment on Taura route to market to optimize approach between Sales organization, BU business development organization, and distribution channels; open to manage certain customers independently. - Initiate, execute, and monitor customer projects for targeted customers in close collaboration with the regional IFF sales organization and the Taura organization in (mainly) New Zealand. - Partner with sales team on pipeline development, conveying product value propositions and supporting trainings. - Leverage global guidelines, manage regional pricing and profitability of the portfolio in collaboration with sales. - Drive annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting process. - Facilitate dialogue between sales and operations in context of supply challenges to minimize customer and business impact.
Qualifications & Skills - Minimum bachelor’s degree in either business or food science or related field. Ideally dual education Science/Business. - Experience in the Food Industry in either Product Line Management, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, or Application where he/she can show impact on business performance and results. - Customer focus, ability to build/articulate value propositions and experience evaluating/developing new business opportunities. - Results orientation, strong business acumen, attention to detail, and problem solving/analytical skills. - Ability to collaborate/influence effectively in a complex matrixed environment, building collaborative working relationships. - Highly developed written and verbal communication in Chinese and English. - Ability to adapt quickly to change coupled with effective time management and prioritization skills. - Self-driven and hands-on positive energy, networker.
