To meet organizational development needs, and support internal financial talent development with a broadness and variety, this position will be working as accountant, report to AP & GL or AR Manager – China. You will handle or support accounting process for Align Shanghai and Align Chengdu entities under the supervision of AP & GL or AR Manager, continue to actively contribute to a fast-paced environment by learning and growing in different roles.

In this role, you will…
Perform timely and accurate reconciliation and review on reports from/with internal or external customers for Align China and Align Chengdu, work closely with cross function to drive results and ensure compliance.
o Respond to internal/external customer queries and coordinate with other team members to answer /resolve disputes in a timely manner, provide risk alert to manager on timely manager.
Ensure completeness and accuracy of ledger, perform VAT reconciliation between ERP and golden tax system.
o Prepare manual journal entries and ensure accurate month end closing and reporting. o Prepare account reconciliations by due date and follow up on reconciling/aged items timely.
Liaise closely with internal and external auditors on the audit field work. Support implementing internal controls and process improvements, support ERP implementation or upgrade when needed. Take necessary actions including provide training to employees and ensure compliance with company finance and accounting policy.
o Other Ad hoc financial projects and tasks assigned by manager.
In this role, you’ll need … The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline · 1-3 year relevant experience in finance and accounting · Working experience in a multinational company environment, with ability to operate in diverse cultures · A good team player with strong verbal and written communication skills, and good interpersonal skills to give strong business partnering support · Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects · Deadline-conscious with “can do” spirit to ensure timely reporting · Have a positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods · Agile, results oriented, customer focused · Acts with integrity and fairness and high standards of accountability · Language: English and Chinese (written and spoken) · Strong systems skills with prior experience of Finance ERP system. Working knowledge of Netsuite and SAP is a plus · Advanced Excel and database skills
