Business Need / Purpose of Role:
The role oversees procurement and planning. This role will be responsible for setting up and implementing a strong S&OP process, working closely and collaboratively with suppliers, manufacturing, quality and engineering to deliver productivity performance across the end-to-end procurement process.

The key responsibilities, but not limited to:
61 Assess the current mainland China site’s procurement recourses and capability, based on New Singamas business transformation strategy, makes short-term, long-term procurement strategy together with management team to better control the risks and cost.
61 Set up and implement the standard work processes such as S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), forecasting, demand and procurement and logistics management.
61 Sets up/improve the measures of Cost Saving, On Time Delivery (OTD), Obsolescence, Inventory Accuracy and Quality.
61 Improve forecasting, planning, inventory management and order fulfillment within sites.
61 Collecting the raw material’s market information and reporting to Group Mkt team regularly.
61 Other responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience/Qualification:
61 Bachelor’s degree qualified with at least 8 years procurement experience.
61 Container manufactory background related.
61 Possess a strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement management including demand and supply planning, continuous improvement techniques in inventory management, load planning, forecasting and supply base management.
61 Has a track record of implementing projects in procurement operations with solid results.
61 Has demonstrated experience of integration of functional resources, development of teams and operation in a supply chain with international reach via export or operations footprint breadth.
