Key Responsibilities: 1. Be responsible for the process audit and assessment of potential suppliers for admission. 2. Support the engineering department in the sample development of new products for cost reduction. 3. Support the purchasing department in the localization of old products with new suppliers. 4. During the localization and new project phases as well as the mass production stage, drive suppliers to conduct effective root cause analysis and improvement measures for product development. 5. Be familiar with processes such as machining and electroplating; knowledge of casting is a plus. 6. Be responsible for the FAI of suppliers. 7. Drive continuous improvement activities among suppliers. 8. Monitor the performance of suppliers in a timely manner and work proactively with them to achieve minimal or no defects. 9. Other tasks assigned by the leadership. 10. Welding coordinator responsible for all welding activities in accordance with ISO 3834-2 & EN 15085 for internal production and supplier site audits and approvals, training and Visual Testing. 11. Responsible for driving continuous improvements of welding activities and assisting in process development for new product introduction.
Job Requirements: 1. Bachelor with engineering or similar mechanical 2. More than 5 year’s experiences as machining/casting supplier quality development and management 3. Good English communication skills, written & oral 4. Technical background on machining/ casting in rail industry is preferred 5. Familiar with machining and manufacturing process and measuring plus GD&T 6. Familiar with 8D, PPAP, problem solving and other quality tools. 7. Excellent quality system ISO9001 knowledge and experience 8. Minimum 2 years as certified IWT. 9. Good knowledge of NDT techniques including but not limited to VT, MT, PT, UT, RT. 10. In depth knowledge of materials processing, treatments and failure investigations. 11. Good knowledge of welding equipment and processes and design for welding.
