● Establish and implement Global and Local Category sourcing strategies to meet the need of the business ● Ensure sustainability in the supply chain with TCO optimization and active risk mitigation ● Collaborate cross functionally internally and externally with R&D, Strategic suppliers to drive continuous improvements initiatives to improve the competitiveness and leverage innovation ● Lead, guide and support the category team members to expand capabilities and to set a solid foundation to meet category performance targets ● Drive cost reduction initiatives to meet budget requirements and support cost competitive ABB Robotics products on the market ● Support the project team in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities from Gate 0 (Early involvement) to Gate 5 (Launch) to secure that project objectives are meet on Quality, Delivery, Time, Innovation, Material compliance and Sustainability ● Managing category budget on expenses and investments and monitor and drive 100% execution on identified projects.

Your background
● Minimum of 5-10 years’ work experience in category/commodity management, preferably in mechanical in complex organizations. ● Ability to work with cross functional teams such as R&D, NPI sourcing, quality, services, materials etc. to achieve timely ● project execution. ● Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders and lead small teams. ● Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, maintaining timeline. ● Proven costing, analytical, problem solving and organizational ability. ● Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. ● Inclusive leadership with background of building collaborative relationships. ● People management skills with clear vision and can-do attitude. ● Capability to interface with senior management both internally & externally. ● In depth understanding of purchasing tools, processes, and practices. ● Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems. ● Fluency in English, written and spoken alike. ● Bachelor’s degree required, major in Engineering preferred. ● Travel of up to 30-40% required (in non-pandemic times).
