Role Purpose The Marketing Specialist is responsible for transforming local marketing and communication activities into an integrated commercial plan and ensuring high quality implementation. This role will support the omni-channel strategy, from customer insight, ideation, development, and commercialization of marketing initiatives at local level and partner closely with APAC marketing teams. This role will also support on building brand value proposition to serve our customer better. Partner with sales effectiveness team to sharpen customer value proposition to better equip the human touch provided by sales representative and ensure best-in-class customer experience along the customer journey by maximizing relevance and awareness in all brand communications. Responsibilities Brand 61 Responsible for brand advertising activities and brand differentiation in our sector. 61 Define and deliver a suite of brand-consistent messaging appropriate to different customer segments and maximize the brand awareness across the region. 61 Ensure a consistent message and image is delivered to the market, using advertising, appropriate social & public relations, white papers, exhibitions, roadshow and other events, collateral materials and website content. 61 Make recommendations on media and channels selection, according to the defined priorities and guidelines. 61 Own the social content strategy and calendar, lead the implementation and performance tracking. 61 Working with and through other stakeholders, to ensure that all web pages associated with the brand websites are compliant with all applicable legal requirements and are maintained current and a reliable source for prospective and existing customers. Customer Experience and Insight 61 Define and refine the interaction between our organisation and our customer over the duration of their relationship, which includes: The attraction, awareness, discovery, cultivation, advocacy, purchase and use of our services. 61 Drive a customer centric culture and skillset in local market. 61 Customer Cultivate the data led insight commercialization process and advocate the utilization of visualization tools or dashboard for monitoring and review. 61 Provider of insights and data analysis related to all facets of our market position. 61 Provide relevant data and insight to shape and influence marketing campaigns and activities. 61 Support insight analysis in the markets for customers’ purchasing behaviours and optimization of target selection. 61 Ensure optimal targeting of contacts based on local insight. 61 Support the tactical creation and production of local marketing activities to exploit local opportunities and events. Marketing Campaigns 61 Responsible for local marketing governance, planning rhythm and quality deliverables. 61 Ensure that the customer needs and commercial opportunities are identified. 61 Implement effective communication of the value proposition concepts and private label positioning. 61 Develop and own budget, reporting, forecasting and overall marketing plans for initiatives. 61 Develop and implement a set of marketing KPIs to measure success across all initiatives. 61 Create and manage marketing operational plan within agreed processes to ensure activities are delivered on time and within budget levels. 61 Manage and liaise with external agencies when needed to bring out the best of the relationships and produce excellent work. 61 Drive e-commerce platform operations (e.g., RS Online Shop, RS WeChat Mini Program, RS WeChat Store), including promotional campaign setup, traffic acquisition, and conversion rate improvement to support sales targets. 61 Partner with digital marketing team to develop and execute integrated digital marketing strategies across social commerce, livestreaming, and paid advertising to maximize online revenue and ROI. Key requirements: Essential Skills & Experience 61 Over 5 years demonstrated marketing experience in a commercial environment preferably B2B. 61 Good knowledge and relevant experience on the key principles of marketing, eCommerce, media design, production, campaign management and execution. 61 Good understanding of brand marketing, content production, campaign management and execution. 61 Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. 61 Able to deliver consistent high quality results on time and within budget. 61 Ability to multitask and handle several projects at one time, managing priorities from multiple requests. 61 Culturally sensitive with the ability to operate with people across different markets. 61 Demonstrate the ability to challenge and work collaboratively at all levels within the organisation. 61 Fluent English both verbal and oral. Desirable Skills & Experience 61 Experience in an International and Matrix organization with good cultural awareness. 61 Knowledge in e-commerce solutions.
